Morgan appeared in a documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women about AIDS education and prevention. The profits from this film were donated in part towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the main force in many fundraising campaigns to fight this disease. She also spoke before the Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett's former assistant surgeon general asked her from time to time to substitute for him at AIDS awareness activities. Additionally, she was host of a AIDS Awareness Special with Steve Bell. She's appeared on Nightline alongside Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan has won an Emmy Award in Diane English's exclusive Murphy Brown episode that was created specifically for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring in the ABC television series Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. Her summer started by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner and also starred Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. After that, she was sent to Luxembourg to film the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan also starred exclusively in the psychological thriller of USA Network, which garnered some of most impressive ratings they have ever recorded.
